== Title State of the CentOS Project - 2015 == Abstract Bringing you the second annual State of CentOS Project, one of the most popular Linux distributions. The panel for this presentation consist of project leaders and members of special interest groups (SIGs) currently active in the project. We'll hear how RDO/OpenStack, Ceph & Gluster, and other SIG members have been successful building and releasing their software as part of CentOS. == Details Members of active SIGs and Project leadership come together in a panel to talk and answer questions about how the first year of the new CentOS Project has come together. It's been 18 months since Red Hat and the CentOS Project announced a growing relationship, and a major focus in that time has been on increasing activity from SIGs. SIGs in the CentOS Project consist of experts directly from different upstreams, distributing their software on top of the CentOS Linux platform as part of the Project. Major SIGs have been formed and are active in building and releasing software via CentOS Project channels, including monthly rolling updates that include cloud and container images (Docker, Atomic, AMI, GCE, et al.)
